Every 2 years in November, the Who’s Who of the gastronomy and food scene meets at Igeho, the international trade fair for the hotel, catering, take-away and care industries. Our long-standing partner Pistor is also represented there as a specialist for the bakery and confectionery sector as well as for gastronomy and care. For Pistor’s appearance this year, Expomobilia worked together with MCH Global and developed the concept of the Pistor Square. This transformed the exhibition stand into a meeting zone. The focus was on contact between visitors, customers, partners and Pistor employees, as well as on experiencing selected competences.
The Pistor Square was divided into three areas:
The culinary world of experience that inspires
The column in the middle of Pistor Square that informs about new products
The networking zones where the visitors interact
With that in mind, the center of the Pistor Square, the bar invited visitors to linger and network while the barista served Latte Art and the sommelier nine different wines. In the show kitchen the chefs were busy preparing culinary wonders. Finally, the Pistor Square experience was completed with an inventive photobooth, the Sharingbox. Visitors were invited to take and share their pictures and in turn, Pistor donated a sum to the Theodora Foundation for every photo taken.
