Nissan and expomobilia have a long-standing partnership. Our team has been collaborating on projects with the Japanese car manufacturer for 27 years. So, expomobilia team received the mandate for Nissan’s appearance at the Dubai International Motor Show 2019.
Our long-standing customer Nissan presented their new X-Trail, and other innovations from the electric car sector. expomobilia project manager Rob Graven coordinated the set-up and dismantling of the stand remotely from his office in Zurich, working closely with the team on-site in Shanghai.
expomobilia designed the exhibition in accordance to Nissan’s official Motor Show Guidelines, enabling them to shape and develop the exhibition space spreading across more than 1,000m². A majority of that space was given to the show stage and the exhibition area for Nissan’s vehicles. The activation at the exhibition stand organized by our partner agency MCH Global Dubai was well received. The activation created a link between Nissan’s presence at the Motor Show and the Dubai Expo 2020 in Dubai, for which Nissan is the official automotive partner.
In addition to a replica of the EXPO 2020 Mobility pavilion, visitors to the motor show were able to stomp on illuminated tiles and thus fill a virtual cup of coffee with electricity. Once the cup was filled, it could be exchanged at the next counter for a real cup of coffee, on which a selfie of the respective stand visitor was printed.
