The Giardina in Zurich is an absolute highlight for fans of urban gardening, balcony greening, and landscaping! Every spring, visitors can marvel at artistic installations, show gardens, and new trends and products on 30,000m².
Our team was tasked with planning and implementing the urban gardening area and the exhibition structure for the Giardia restaurant using the oak wood exhibition stand system. The combination of oak wood and the green plant jungle perfectly showcased the garden theme.
Giardina is held every spring at Messe Zurich. The show is among Europe’s leading indoor events when it comes to gardens and gardening. A wide variety of suppliers present their new products, creative solutions, and upcoming trends in garden design in the industry gathering’s 30,000m² exhibition space. Plenty of inspiration for gardens, terraces, and balconies!
The restaurant’s “green” touch came not only from the eye-catching indoor plant jungle but from every aspect of its concept. Our team designed and built the temporary restaurant using a modular oak wood system and rented plants, furniture, flooring, and wooden elements that will be reused. Even the menu was sustainable. The Wassermann team served delicious dishes cooked up using local and seasonal ingredients.
Held on 600m², this urban gardening exhibition presented ideas and products capable of transforming urban gardens, terraces, and even the smallest balconies into green oases. The special exhibition comprised various interactive elements in 6 pavilions, 6 tunnels, and, at the center, a big eye-catcher.
Our team also planned and implemented the oak wood structure for the 17 exhibitors. The sustainable exhibition stand system was the perfect choice to present topics around natural gardening in urban environments.
The sustainable oak wood system was the ideal choice to showcase the restaurant and the urban gardening theme. All wooden elements were part of the system, were rented, and will be reused. Graphical elements were printed on light material and stored after the event to be reused in 2024. The metal screens used at the urban gardening show were all manufactured at expomobilia’s metal workshop.
